O advento

O primeiro Domingo de Advento em 2011 é dia 27 de Novembro.

Para o cristianismo, o Advento representa a preparação para o Natal e, ao contrário do que se vê nos nossos dias, esta preparação passa pelo recolhimento, pelo cultivo do silêncio, da tranquilidade, pela meditação/oração. o Clima convida a ficar em casa e à planificação de actividades mais tranquilas.

Trata-se de celebrar a paz e a luz.

Plants that reach up to the sun and in the breezes dance.

Este ano, faremos um Calendário de Advento especial. inspirado nos quatro elementos - minerais, plantas, animais e humanidade - com actividades diárias que possamos desenvolver em conjunto, em casa.

Neste inverno, vamos reificar o mantra há tanto entoado,

"slow down sweet mama,
take a deep breath,
you are doing a great job.
look gently within (take responsibility for what you might be contributing
and then forgive yourself),
connect back in with that little spirit who wants only to be loved.
And find some work to do with their hands"
